Central location and just 600m walk from central bus and train station. No traffic noise and located nearby shopping streets with cafes and restaurants. The staff is very friendly, always with a smile and are happy to help you with planning your day trips etc. All areas were well maintained and were cleaned multiple times during the day. The room was little with just two beds each with a night table. Though this was expected, some simple sideboards would be nice to put my stuff on. There is plenty of space on the walls over each bed ;) The kitchen has everything you need to store and prepare your food. If you're one of the social side you can even make use of the events they do at the evenings (e.g. pizza night). While it is a hostel it is not a party place and the quiet time 23:00-06:00 is strictly enforced. So you got your sleep. Despite my don't like comments I still will stay here again next time I'm in town.

I had the absolute best time at this hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm, friendly welcome. The atmosphere is vibrant and perfect for meeting fellow travelers—whether you’re lounging in the common areas or joining one of the many fun activities they organize, like family dinners and pub crawls. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-kept, and the location is ideal for exploring the city. What really sets this place apart is the sense of community. I met so many amazing people, and it felt like more than just a place to stay—it was an experience. Whether you're a solo traveller or with a group, this hostel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to have a memorable and social adventure. Highly recommended

A wonderful stay, I had a private room and bathroom and it was comparable to a hotel. It was very quiet despite it being a hostel, they do specify they are not a party hostel which I like. The location was 10/10, could easily walk all over Faro. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this stay to any type of traveller, and I would stay here again when next in Faro. I also booked a tour day of through the hostel with the company XTOURS ALGRAVE to the Benagil caves. This turned out to be a huge highlight of my trip and I'm so glad I booked it, the guide was amazing! I definitely recommend checking out the tours and excursions offered through the hostel.

For me who work remotely and wanted to stay for a longer time this was the best hostel. The staff is A+. Helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. I slept in a female dorm and the beds have a big drawer to lock up your bag, curtains for privacy and a light and some outlets. The common areas were great for sitting and working but also for just hanging out. The couche's were so comfortable. The kitchen is clean, got everything you need to cook and also got three stove's so several people can cook at the same time. I had an amazing time at Hostellicious!

This was my first hostel experience at the age of 52! However, being in the military, it was very much like living in a barracks except it was nicer, co-ed and more comfortable. I’m going to suggest the bed curtains to the Army! The location was great, walking distance of bus/train station, shops and cultural events. The best part of Hostellicious are all of the excursions and in-house events they host. I went bodyboarding to Benagil Cave and had the best time! The staff was also very attentive to my needs!
